Between June 25th to June 27th, 2025 AL AMAL was invited to attend an open day activity that is organized annually by Joint Actions Development Forum (JADF) with the aim to allow different partners to showcase their interventions (business models, approaches/methodologies, tools, success/achievements, etc). Al Amal took this opportunity to present its Home-Based Palliative Care Program. Al Amal  booth attracted a wide range of visitors, including district officials and community members, who engaged in meaningful discussions about palliative care, pain management and psychosocial support for patients with life-limiting conditions.

Through visual displays, educational materials, and on-site demonstrations, AL AMAL highlighted its interventions aimed at improving the quality of life for patients and families facing serious illness. Al Amal presence helped to raise awareness and opened doors to potential collaborations with stakeholders and beneficiaries in need.

During the closing ceremony, the Deputy President of Nyarugenge JADF commended all participating organizations, specifically acknowledging AL AMAL’s active role in the success of this year’s event. The JADF Coordinator also expressed gratitude for AL AMAL’s efforts in supporting vulnerable populations and strengthening community-based care models.

In recognition of its impactful work, AL AMAL received a Certificate of Recognition for its continued contribution to the district’s action plan and community well-being.
